Terra Charge is an EV charging platform built to accelerate electric vehicle adoption in India. Since January 2023, we partnered from day one to define its product vision, UX, and brand system, building everything from strategy to scalable design systems.We helped grow it from a 0-to-1 startup into a complete ecosystem with mobile apps, web dashboards, and station management tools, enabling users to find, book, and pay for charging easily while operators manage stations efficiently.
Challenges & Solutions
Problem
Building the EV charging platform meant balancing two key users: EV drivers and station operators. It simplified station discovery, live availability, booking, payments, and charging sessions for drivers, while providing operators with tools for pricing, analytics, monitoring, and station control, all within a complex infrastructure that had to feel seamless and reliable.
Solution
We created a unified EV ecosystem with an intuitive mobile app for drivers and a powerful SaaS dashboard for operators. Drivers get real-time station visibility, booking, payments, and session tracking in a smooth flow, while operators can manage chargers, pricing, billing, and analytics through modular dashboards, resulting in a scalable EV SaaS platform built for growth.
Process
Wireframing
Wireframes translated complex EV infrastructure logic into structured, usable flows. We defined station locator hierarchies, charger type filters (AC/DC/CHAdeMO), availability indicators, pricing transparency, and payment breakdowns. The core challenge was simplifying real-time charging data without overwhelming the user. Clear session states Available, Occupied, Offline, No Internet, were strategically placed to reduce friction and increase trust in the system.
Mood board
The Terra Charge visual language was built around energy, motion, and sustainability. We explored electric gradients, deep dark-mode interfaces, and clean neutral palettes to reflect a future-forward EV ecosystem. Typography was selected for legibility in outdoor usage scenarios, while UI elements emphasized clarity, confidence, and technological precision.
Design
The EV charging app was designed for real-world conditions, bright outdoor environments and low-light scenarios. Dark mode enhances battery efficiency and improves night-time usability, while light mode ensures clarity during daytime navigation. Consistent UI components across both themes reinforce brand identity while maintaining usability across devices.
Before
Fragmented EV Charging Experience
Before Terra Charge, EV drivers relied on multiple apps and inconsistent data to find charging stations. This made it difficult to locate available chargers, understand charging speeds, or track charging sessions, creating uncertainty for drivers and operational challenges for charging providers.

Unified Tutor Management Platform
The redesigned Wise.live platform creates a centralized system for tutor management, live sessions, and student progress tracking. Tutors can manage courses and sessions from a single dashboard, while students experience a more structured learning journey with organized materials and clear progress tracking.
