RenewBuy is a digital insurance platform that simplifies how people discover, compare, and purchase insurance across India. We partnered with the team to shape and evolve its digital ecosystem, turning complex insurance journeys into clear, intuitive experiences. Our UI/UX approach focused on simplifying insurance information, streamlining decision-making, and building trust across every interaction, from discovering plans and comparing coverage to getting quotes and managing policies.
Challenges & Solutions
Problem
RenewBuy needed to simplify a complex insurance journey across multiple products, plans, and user needs. Users can find it difficult to understand insurance terminology, compare coverage and premiums, and identify the right policy for their requirements. The experience needed to reduce this complexity while building trust and guiding users confidently from insurance discovery to purchase and policy management.
Solution
We designed a clear, scalable insurance experience that makes complex information easier to understand and act on. The solution focused on intuitive navigation, structured comparison journeys, simplified plan information, and guided decision-making. A reusable design system helped maintain consistency across Health, Life, and Motor Insurance, creating a seamless experience across web and mobile while supporting RenewBuy's evolving digital ecosystem.
Process
Wireframing
Wireframing played a critical role in shaping the RenewBuy insurance experience, helping translate complex insurance requirements into clear, structured user journeys. We focused on defining intuitive navigation, information hierarchy, and key flows across insurance discovery, plan comparison, policy purchase, and policy management. The challenge was to balance the depth of insurance information with ease of use, ensuring users could quickly understand their options and move confidently through each journey. Key interactions such as quote generation, plan comparison, coverage details, document management, and policy servicing were mapped and refined to create a seamless experience across web and mobile platforms.

The visual direction for RenewBuy focused on creating a balance between trust, simplicity, and accessibility. We explored clean layouts, approachable visuals, modern typography, and a confident colour palette to make insurance feel less complex.

The RenewBuy design focuses on creating a simple, intuitive insurance experience across web and mobile. We transformed complex insurance information into clear interfaces that make it easier for users to discover, compare, and choose the right coverage.The experience brings together structured plan details, coverage information, premium comparisons, and guided journeys while maintaining clarity and trust. A scalable design system and reusable UI patterns ensure consistency across Health, Life, and Motor Insurance.
