RenewBuy is an emerging EV marketplace platform that simplifies how users discover, compare, and purchase electric vehicles across India. Since January 2025, we’ve partnered closely with the founding team to build the product from the ground up, turning an early-stage idea into a scalable digital ecosystem. Our UI/UX approach focused on simplifying complex EV data, streamlining user journeys, and creating an intuitive, trust-driven experience. The result is a high-performance platform that enables confident decision-making while supporting RenewBuy’s rapid growth in the evolving EV market.
Challenges & Solutions
Problem
RenewBuy faced the challenge of building an EV marketplace from scratch in a rapidly evolving electric vehicle ecosystem. Users often struggle to understand complex EV data such as battery range, charging infrastructure, pricing, and model comparisons. The platform needed to simplify these decision points while supporting multiple user journeys from first-time EV buyers to informed users across web and mobile experiences.
Solution
We designed a scalable EV marketplace experience with intuitive navigation, structured comparison flows, and data-driven UI components. By simplifying complex electric vehicle information into clear, user-friendly interfaces, we enabled faster decision-making and improved usability. The product was built with a robust design system, ensuring consistency, scalability, and seamless performance across devices while supporting RenewBuy’s growth in the EV market.
Process
Wireframing
Wireframing played a critical role in shaping the RenewBuy EV marketplace experience by translating complex electric vehicle data into clear, structured user flows. We focused on defining intuitive navigation, comparison journeys, and content hierarchy to simplify how users explore, compare, and purchase EVs online. The challenge was balancing depth of information with ease of use, ensuring the platform remains fast, scalable, and user-friendly. Key interactions like vehicle comparison, pricing insights, and discovery flows were carefully mapped to create a seamless and efficient user experience across web and mobile platforms.
Mood board
The visual direction for RenewBuy was inspired by innovation, sustainability, and trust within the electric vehicle ecosystem. We explored modern color palettes, clean typography, and minimal design elements to reflect a forward-thinking EV marketplace. The mood board focused on creating a balance between technology and accessibility, ensuring the platform feels both advanced and easy to use. This foundation helped establish a consistent visual identity that enhances usability, builds credibility, and supports RenewBuy’s positioning in the growing EV market.
