Challenges & Solutions
Problem
RockED faced the challenge of turning dense training content into an experience employees would actually enjoy using. The flow had to stay fast, intuitive, and accessible while working seamlessly for different learner roles and learning moments.
Solution
We designed a scalable learning ecosystem with role-based dashboards, structured learning paths, and clear progress tracking. The interface supports RockED’s business goals, simplifies complex training flows, and keeps engagement high across teams and devices.
Process
Wireframing
Wireframes helped us translate complex automotive training requirements into clear, structured layouts that defined learning flows, user roles, and content hierarchy. The main challenge was balancing depth with speed, making the platform powerful enough for enterprise training, yet simple and intuitive for everyday learners. We also carefully placed progress tracking, assessments, and guidance tools so they supported learning without interrupting momentum.
Mood board
Our mood board was shaped by RockED’s fast-moving automotive learning environment. We explored bold yet balanced colors, confident typography, and clean, modular layouts to convey energy, clarity, and trust. The visual direction supports focused learning, reflects a modern enterprise platform, and reinforces progress, momentum, and performance.
Design
Wireframes helped us translate complex automotive training requirements into clear, structured layouts that defined learning flows, user roles, and content hierarchy. The main challenge was balancing depth with speed, making the platform powerful enough for enterprise training, yet simple and intuitive for everyday learners. We also carefully placed progress tracking, assessments, and guidance tools so they supported learning without interrupting momentum.

Clear learning flows and a focused UI encouraged employees to return, learn consistently, and complete more training.
A clearer learning structure and progress-led experience made it easier for users to understand what to do next and how far they had progressed. Thoughtful navigation, milestones, and feedback loops encouraged learners to return with confidence rather than friction. Over time, this consistency helped build sustained engagement and stronger long-term retention across the platform.
